Vertu MINI Barnstaple were fantastic because they made the whole journey of buying my Mini effortless. The sales were helpful and informative, but not pushy or overbearing. The test drive was just what I wanted, fun and practical and helped to seal the deal. I could not be happier with my mini or the service from Vertu. I would not recommend Vertu MINI Barnstaple because the car I purchased nearly 8 weeks ago continues to show faults. I am now being told these might not be covered by the warranty sold with the car but these faults already existed and became apparent straight after the car left the forecourt. I was also told for the agreed price that a substantial scratch would be removed but when I came to collect the car it was still very apparent and I was told it needed paint and that wasn't in the agreed price.

We have looked into the information you provided and have spoken to the warranty company and they have confirmed that the work required is indeed under warranty, with all warranties though the garage that you took your car to can refuse to do the work. I am understand that you have now got the car booked in at a ford main dealer so they will carry out the work under the warranty.
In regards to the scratch, all our cars are prepared to the standards required subject to age and mileage, we will of course be happy to have a look at this for you, please just pop back in and we can take a look.

I'd definitely recommend Vertu MINI Barnstaple to friends and family because the "silver tongued" salesman was reasonably effi8cient and informative.
I am slightly dissatisfied that on top of the advertises sale price, I was charged for additional items, that I think should have been included in the sale price.
